Budget Easter Holiday

Holidays are pricey for everyone, but when you’re a student the idea of funding one seems like a Herculean task. However, what if I told you there was a beautiful and affordable destination you and your mates could go to that’s mere seconds away from a gorgeous, sandy beach? A place full of pubs, kite surfing and beach barbeques beneath a blazing sun? Well, there is; and it’s called God’s Pocket.

At least, that’s what the locals refer to it as; its real name is West Wittering, a truly beautiful place to have a holiday that boasts miles upon miles of golden coastline and a picturesque, shimmering ocean.

Coming up here with a group of friends would be the Easter break of a lifetime. When you’re not sunning yourself on the beach with a crate of Corona you’ll be flipping burgers on the barbie, tearing up the ocean on a surfboard or tucking into a home cooked lunch in one of the pub gardens.

You’ve got options galore for accommodation, too: there’s cheap hotels everywhere, but if you aren’t too bothered there’s plenty of campsites where you can pitch a tent for peanuts. There’s many more options, too; but to be fair, you won’t be doing a whole lot of sleeping.

Nothing really compares to this place, and you’ll be amazed at how little cash you’ll have to spend. At day the beach is buzzing with life, and by night it’s the epitome of peacefulness; you can take late night dips and feel like you’re the only person on the planet.

So, to sum up, don’t get scammed in scummy Magaluf or risk STI’s in Zante, the only thing you’ll come away with from those places is empty pockets and liver damage. Come to West Wittering instead, and have a holiday you and your mates will never forget.
