Brighton education staff join a second national strike

By Adela Ryle

University and further education staff in Brighton join the national strike action on 3/12/13 to protest the 1% pay offer (a 13% cut in real terms over the last four years), changes to pensions and the threat of performance based pay. Picket lines were set up early in the morning, followed by a march through the city centre and a series of talks at the Holiday Inn.
