If you’re getting bored of the usual pint of slightly watered down Becks or just a bit fed up with your un-matured taste buds’ idea of a fine wine, then you will be pleasantly surprised to find this lovely little tucked away quirky thing.
In the heart of Middle Street, in a sort of Harry Potter esq alley lies the beautiful Twisted Lemon. The downstairs area is close nit, but that further emphasises the friendly and comfortable atmosphere that the Twisted Lemon has.
The outside spaces are quirky and relaxing, under the old fire escape with a few round tables, creating a nice place to get some fresh air whilst sipping on a Cosmopolitan.
With the very reasonably priced tastily crafted cocktails and a delicious menagerie of revamped food previously served at what was the Blind Lemon Alley. The food goes along the lines of steak, chips, fish with all the lashings.
If you’re not sure exactly what you like in a cocktail, he staff are willing to help you on the right track to an explosion of perfection at the first sip.
As a student I have to regretfully highly recommend this little gem, the prices are more than reasonable and to be honest, I think student’s need a bit of a break from spending as little as possible but not really getting the full experience of what we’re paying for.
It’s also a really fun place to go for a special occasion or just a quick drink with someone to catch up.
