Bexhill High to mark World Aids Day with theatre performance

Bexhill High will be marking World Aids Day with a special performance of the show Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens on the 1st December.

The production reflects the lives of those who have lived and died from aids through poems and song. There are 30 poems in the production with each one reflecting the dramatic and touching story of a character who has died from aids.

The show will feature performances from stars of the West End including ex Bexhill High student, Zoe Doana who has starred in hits such as Les Miserables, Grease and the Sound of Music, Jayson Newland who found fame on the X Factor and Harry Potter actor Craig Garner will also be taking part as they are supported by a choir comprised by students of the Bexhill High Theatre company and Rother Community Choir.

Tickets are being sold at £8 for adults and £6 for students and O.A.P’s.
