It’s a fantastic platform for emerging artists to produce new music and share it with the world for free.
Because youtubers are scaled on such a huge platform their audience is almost specified with the majority aged in their early teens.

Orla Gartland is a fantastic example of the Youtube culture, her popularity has increased ten-fold from using the site as a platform to promote her music.
She has found her way onto through the doors into the music industry, even recently supporting huge names such as Bastille in her hometown of Dublin.
We caught up with her at a recent show in Brighton to see how she believes Youtube has influenced and helped her gain that first step in her career.
