‘In loving memory’ Charity gig

In October 2010 Angus Rowland was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia, and sadly he passed away in May 2011 at the age of 14.
After his death, his family set up The Angus Rowland Forget Me Not Fund to help raise money and awareness for others suffering similar blood cancers.
Since 2011 his friends and family have worked tirelessly to raise money for the fund in many different ways: from sponsored walks; marathons; and even a 24-hour football match held at his old school.
The most recent effort to raise money comes on Angus’s 16th birthday, the 14th of December, when his friends are holding a concert at St Paul’s Catholic College in Burgess Hill, Angus’s secondary school.
The headliners are In Loving Memory, a band formed by his friends and younger brother and they will be joined by special guests for the evening. Their sets will feature a mixture of rock classics and popular music.
Three hundred tickets are on sale for the gig for £5 online or £6 on the door, and they are expected to sell out quickly.
