The event, organised by the schools performing arts department, will see the Lewes-based ensemble taking part in a number of activities throughout the day.
The traditional 12-piece ensemble features of some of the south east’s best brass players and they will be helping with workshops throughout the day before an evening performance.
Organiser Katy de Braux, from Bexhill High, said: ‘This is going to be just the most amazing event. We are all so excited about it.
Between 2-5pm they will be offering their expertise in a workshop for wind or brass players of all ages at grade two or above.
As well as having the opportunity to play alongside some excellent professional players, those taking part also have a chance to perform in the evening concert.
Another workshop is taking place from 4-5, this time for singers of all ages, who don’t need to be able to read music.
After learning two songs the singers will also be able to join in with the evening concert singing with Harveys Brass Ensemble.
Finally the evening concert, starting at 6.45pm, will see the ensemble supported by the Hastings and Rother Youth Brass Ensemble.
The finale will combine both ensembles and the Bold As Brass scratch choir and band, made up of those who took part in the earlier workshops.
Katy said: “’This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves music and fancies their chance to learn more and to take part.”
