No one person, not even its creators, thought that Friends would be the most talked-about sit-com of all time.
Friends is still seen as one of the greatest television phenomenon’s of both the 20th and 21st centuries, as it has had countless re-runs and its attractive New Yorkers are always relatable and comical.
Having started in September 1994, Friends has gone on to make its six actors household names [Courtney Cox Arquette, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Anniston] and along the way has sparked trends in clothes and fashion.
The evolution of both the characters and the dynamics of the central relationships over the ten series is the key to how Friends is still a ‘Must See TV’ wonder.
